A Fiery Sunset - North Shore Family Photographer

It's been raining lately. A lot.
Our beautiful skies turned gray and there's red mud everywhere we go.
The kids have been cooped inside a whole week because of the rain and because I've been so sick with a cold.
Yesterday they begged me to take them to the park. I couldn't say no. It was drizzling on and off and a bit cold for standard Hawaii weather. We had to go into Haleiwa because our beach playground in Waialua has been teared down, and we're still waiting for them to put a new one up (perks of living in a small rural town I guess).
Before playing in the playground, we quickly went to the patch of beach by the playground.
There's really no playground like nature... trees were climbed, rocks were thrown, and the most amazing fiery sunset emerged from the storm clouds and bathed everything in the most beautiful shade of red light.
A great way to end a day that had been otherwise dull. I am always amazed at how God is able to lift our spirits up with one master stroke of color.
