Most people (myself included) feel really awkward around a photographer. It’s normal. You have someone with a camera pointed at you, and even if the goal is to capture candid moments, those first few minutes always need a good ice breaker so that everyone gets more comfortable.

These two rocked their maternity shoot! It’s so rare that a husband will be goofy around me, so it was a breath of fresh air when this dad to be made his wife laugh. Like, genuinely laugh. The.Whole.Shoot. It was awesome! He was able to put his feelings aside and focus on his wife and making her comfortable for the shoot that she wanted and planned for.
