The Birth of Luna

Jessica, David and their two boys moved from Miami to the island of Lana'i. They had to look for an OB here in Oahu and made several trips over during their pregnancy. Towards the end of it they rented a home for a few weeks to wait for baby Luna, their first girl, to make her appearance.

Jessica had told me she was hoping for a full moon baby because of the name they had picked: Luna. Just 3 days shy of the official full moon day, she went into labor. I remember looking up at the sky just in the early evening and seeing a bright moon there and smiling, because Luna would arrive on a day where the moon was bright in the sky <3

The birth was a beautiful, calm and empowering VBAC and dad was the one that caught baby Luna. I've never seen a smile so big!
