Embracing the Storm | Hawaii Family Photographer

A client recently asked me what I would in case of rain. As we enter into Hawaii’s rainy season, this is something that we always have to consider and be prepared for. Usually I track the weather really carefully, but sometimes Hawaii weather likes to pull a trick on me.

This family’s shoot on the West Side is a prime example of a beautiful overcast day that quickly turned into a crazy storm all around us. They said let’s keep shooting, so I did. I truly loved how they embraced the rain and let it be a big part of their family shoot while visiting Hawaii.

Rain is ok. Life is not perfect. We can still make it work <3
