Another Girl! A Maternity Session from Sand, Water & Sky | Hawaii Maternity Photography

The Harms, waiting on their 3rd girl, were a dream to shoot with. Martina really wanted underwater shots but waking up early wasn’t an options for her two small girls, who would hopefully get in the water too!

We agreed to shoot at sunset and hope for the best since water clarity isn’t always at its best at the end of the day.

We enjoyed a gorgeous empty beach and some rain. When we go in the water I noticed a lot of orange tiny algae floating around. Even with all of those unpredictabilities, I still love how beautiful and moody her underwater shots were.

It usually takes my clients a few tries to nail certain details of shooting underwater, but Martina was a true mermaid!
