The Birth of Willow | Haleiwa, Oahu Birth Photographer and Videographer

Willow was my first North Shore baby! It’s still crazy to me that I live on the North Shore and never get to work here for home births. I was so stoked with the short drive to Michelle’s home, and ultimately that’s what made me make it on time. Willow came super fast once active labor kicked in and I walked into the bedroom to see Michelle’s eyes covered and the tell tale noises of a mom who is about to birth her baby.

Dad caught baby in his arms and Dr. Lori helped him turn baby around to untangle the cord. Then they lifted baby up together and found out it was another girl! Big sister had spent the whole pregnancy saying it was another girl, and in the video you can hear dad say she was right all along.

It was a sweet family moment and I am so glad I was there to capture it for them!
