A third baby and first home birth // Honolulu, Hawaii Birth Photographer

Sandi and Justice were having their third baby. Their first boy after 2 beautiful girls, and their first planned home birth.

I got called around 1am saying she was having constant contractions. We decided to wait and see if they continued, and at around 3:30am Sandi decided I should head their way sine they lived about an hour from me.

It was the perfect decision! If we had waited I would never have made it. She went from a casual 5cm to pushing baby out in about an hour and half.

I got there at around 4:15am and her baby boy was born at 5:17am.

No time to blow up the birth pool, so in order to get her water birth, me and Jazmin got her to the tiny bathroom so she could birth in her tiny tub.

It was glorious and amazing! She birthed her 8lbs 9oz boy under the watchful eye of her daughters and supported by her husband and her midwife.
